Metro Nashville Health & Education Facilities Board
2023 Board Member
Tyler was appointed to the Metro Nashvilleās Health and Educational Facilities Board in 2023. The 7 person board citizens to encourage and promote the improvement and maintenance of their health and living conditions. He and the six other members are responsible
issue revenue bonds and loan the proceeds to finance the acquisition, construction, development, rehabilitation, and improvement of health, educational, and multifamily housing facilities. The types of eligible projects and borrowers are determined by State statute and include hospitals, universities, non-profit schools, and multifamily housing developers.

Metro Nashville Participatory Budgeting Steering Committee
2023 Committee Member
Tyler is District 14 Representative for the 2023 Metro Nashville Participatory Budgeting Steering Committee. The 35-person committee was tasked with reviewing more than 1,300 proposed community improvement projects.
They narrowed 35 projects, one from each district, were reviewed. In the end 24 projects received funding.
